All applicants considering our program must meet the minimum application requirements:​

  • Completion of a master’s degree from a U.S. accredited college or university

  • Successful completion of an ACEND accredited didactic program in dietetics (DPD Verification Statement or a signed Declaration of Intent to Complete)

  • Completion of application through DICAS

  • Degree and all coursework must be successfully completed before the internship begins

  • Clear criminal background and drug testing

Proposed rotation sites and preceptors are an important component to the application selection process. Candidates should have a prospective community rotation site and preceptor selected. For candidates choosing to use sites and preceptors of their choice for all rotations (pathway #2), a potential rotation schedule along with proposed sites and preceptors is required when applying.
